As an upper limb amputee, your bionic hand has the ability to reinvigorate your sense of independence and strength - which is why choosing the right prosthesis is such an important decision. But, seeing as you're reading this, it's safe to assume that you've made your decision (and the right one at that).
Now that you've decided to become a Zeus user, it's time to get your new prosthesis in your possession. We'll walk you through every step of the process to ensure that Zeus is yours in no time.
Visit a Local Prosthetist
The first step to getting Zeus is finding and visiting one of our local prosthetic centers near you.
Zeus is offered in prosthetic centers all around the world - and is soon to be expanding further. For now, you can get Zeus from one of these clinics located in these countries:

- Germany

- Poland
- Portugal
- United States
- Spain
If you're still stuck on finding the closest location to you, don't worry. We've created a map to help our users find Zeus. We also encourage our users to speak with their local prosthetic centers about offering Zeus to further our reach and user accessibility.
Get Fitted
Once you've met with your prosthetist, it's time to get fitted! The fit of your prosthesis is crucial for both functionality and comfort. Your prosthetist will work with you individually to create a customized socket for you, ensuring that it fits comfortably. This will support your bionic hand, ensuring it fits and stays put.
If you're a first-time prosthesis user, you may receive a temporary socket for a few months. This will allow time for your limb to mature and adjust before being fitted with a long-term socket. If this isn't your first prosthetic hand, this process may be faster.
Customize Your Zeus
Once your socket and prosthesis fit comfortably, it's time to start the customization process. As customization involves both appearance and functionality, it is important that you are happy with both.
As Zeus is designed to empower users, we understand that self-expression is a significant component of that.
While all Zeus hands have a robotic-like appearance (after all, you should look like the superhero that you are), color is a significant element of design and customization as well. While some users may choose to go with neutral or skin-tone colors, others may have something more unique. At Aether Biomedical, we believe that users should strive to stand out and do so with pride and confidence. For this reason, the Zeus doesn’t follow the traditional route.
Learn to Use Zeus
Before we get too ahead of ourselves, it's important that you're comfortable operating your new bionic hand. While Zeus is highly intuitive, operated using bio-signal processing, we still want our users to be confident in their ability to use Zeus. For this reason, you'll work directly with your prosthetist to learn how to use Zeus.
Your prosthetist will ensure that you can confidently operate Zeus and seamlessly transition between grips. While this may seem daunting - not to worry - our users say they became Zeus pros in no time.
Make Adjustments
With Zeus fitting and looking to your liking, it's time to make functional adjustments. Zeus is equipped with 12 selectable grip patterns, all of which can be modified further to your exact needs.
While strength and dexterity are guaranteed, you may participate in certain activities that require specific movements. If this is the case, you can utilize Zeus' remote configuration capabilities.
Whether you're looking to lift weights, hold a paintbrush, or adjust a camera lens, you can make these individual adjustments from any location using Zeus' web-based software. As your needs change, so can Zeus, allowing it to support you in every movement and activity.
Start Your Journey with Zeus
Once you have been fitted to Zeus, adjusted it to your liking, and become familiar with operating it, you are officially a Zeus user!
You'll soon learn this for yourself, but in case you aren't excited enough, Zeus offers:
